Do You Know Your Enneagram Type?

I’m Stephen Hornyak, a Hollywood producer, acting coach, writer and actor with over 25 years of experience and over 50 credits. My interest in the Enneagram started when I used it as a self-help diagnostic tool. I quickly realized there is a correlation between transcendent acting and the personality type of an actor. My aim is to give you the tools to do your best work and to help pursue the roles that are most right for you. You'll be given exercises to make you well-versed in typing roles and finding the ones that will make you shine.

What People Are Saying…

“Once I found my type, (with Steve) I was able to see why as the youngest in my family I was always talking care of my older sisters. Good information for me as an actor.”

— Ramon Rodriquez, Will Trent | Charlie's Angels

“Steve Hornyak taught me more about understanding what archetypes I fit into than any teacher I've ever had. He was specific, taught with humor, warmth, and most importantly, with a wealth of knowledge from movies, literature and life. He illuminated how every actor fills an archetypal role in a story, and that understanding your archetype means understanding yourself and how others see you in the world. Steve's questions, stories and examples taught me the dark and light sides and the arc of that journey of your character, which is essential to becoming a more specific and interesting actor. I consider what he teaches to be a cornerstone for any actor's technique. I highly recommend him.”

— Kevin Kilner, One Tree Hill | Earth: The Final Conflict | Glass Menagerie on Broadway

“Stephen Hornyak’s Ennneagram character work is an eye opener for actors caught in a recurring type, or actors groping to find their niche. He’s intuitive and, by his own admission, loves actors and their journey. The work expands an individual’s casting by helping them explore the extremes or their type, both good and bad. Actors who never thought they could play the villain suddenly find “the way” in which their type would be villainous. It’s great fun.”

— Colleen Flynn, Pay it Forward | Clear and Present Danger

“I've been a professional actress for 40 years, have earned a living
at it for the last 30. I can't begin to describe how clarifying Steve Hornyak's class on the Enneagram was for me. It focused me on my strengths in a way I wish I had seen years ago. It influenced my next set of headshots and a new demo reel which brings out a sharper-edged side of me that's helped me in several TV roles since I took the class. When I got a Master's Degree in Theatre (Wayne State University) 150 years ago, they should have been teaching this along with Shakespeare and Williams. It's much more geared to helping you ACTUALLY WORK in this business.”

— Nancy Linnehan-Charles, Charlie Wilson’s War | Minority Report
